While the new income tax law grabs headlines, for small business owners there was another big 2018 tax change. This change involves a Supreme Court decision on sales tax. The ruling expands states ability to levy sales tax on out of state purchasers. So now small business owners will need to understand sales tax anywhere they sell, not just, where they are located.
