RMU’s fourth annual Girls & Women in Sport Symposium aims to increase the dialogue about the opportunities and barriers that girls and women in sport encounter. The symposium addresses a range of contemporary issues including leadership, gender equity, Title IX, positive youth development, LGBTQ inclusiveness, media portrayals of female athletes, and advocacy for women in sports. Students, faculty, athletes, coaches, administrators, and the greater Pittsburgh community are encouraged to attend. RSVP here.
